While it’s crazy to say I’m shocked, but well… I’m fucking shocked. Knew dude was having health problems, but he’s also one of those people who you think would last forever. Don’t really have any Lemmy stories of note, don’t think I ever even got a picture with the dude, we shared a few festivals stages but never really hung out. My Motorhead memories go back to my first few van tour tours driving around the U.S. blasting the Motorhead Best Of “No Remorse”, where we likely would have missed multiple shows if it wasn’t for that album making us drive faster down the highway. "Ace Of Spades" gets all the love, and rightly so, it is one of the greatest heavy metal songs of all time… those lyrics… man, so fucking GOOD!! But “Love Me Like A Reptile” was always my jam, so raunchy, the innuendo, and what a hook!! He wasn’t the nicest guy you'd ever met, and frankly, it was exactly how I wanted him to be the few times I met him. Dave has a great story about the first time he saw Motorhead, an audience ember yelled out "Play Overkill” Lemmy: “We already did” Audience member: “play it again” Lemmy: “Don’t be a cunt”. Fucking love that story! And the dude had style, he had taste, he was a bad ass, he was just fucking COOL. R.I.P Lemmy #borntoloselivetowin #lemmy
