We are very sad to report the tragic news that bassist Sean Kennedy (Deez Nuts, ex-I Kill The Prom Queen) has passed away yesterday, February 23rd. He was only 35 years old.

Lambgoat reports no cause of death has yet been revealed. Kennedy has been playing with the comically-named group Deez Nuts for eight years and played on their albums Recovery, Binge & Purgatory, and Word Is Bond. Prior to that he was in I Killed The Prom Queen for that band's first two full length releases, When Goodbye Means Forever… and Music For the Recently Deceased.

Former I Kill The Prom Queen vocalist Michael Crafter commented "For years we stood side by side on stage or in band photos. We slept on floors, in vans, planes and some how managed to tour the world. Time went way to fast. We experienced highs and lows on the road and after all we went through, you will always be my friend. As the years passed us by I'm glad we've always been there for each other. When I called you last week I didn't think it would be the last. I wish I could say goodbye. Love and will always miss you mate. Rest In Peace."

Our deepest condolences go out to Sean's family and friends.
