Andrea Meyer was one of five people killed in a bow-and-arrow attack carried out on October 13 at a supermarket in Kongsberg, Norway. Meyer was 52-years old and produced music under the names Nebelhexë, Andrea Nebel, and Aghast Manor. Meyer also contributed vocals to Cradle Of Filth's 1994 album The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh, as well as a spoken word part to "The Dawn Of A New Age" off Satyricon's 1996 album Nemesis Divina.
"R.I.P. Andrea Meyer. Andrea guested on our debut album ‘The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh’ and also modelled and danced for us onstage as well as presiding over ritual back in our formative years," said Cradle Of Filth vocalist Dani Filth in an Instagram post. "She will be sadly missed and our deep felt love and sympathies go out to her kith and kin."
Espen Andersen Braathen has confessed to the bow and arrow attacks and has been transferred to a psychiatric facility. According to AP, Braathen was held on five counts of preliminary murder and at least three counts of preliminary attempted murder. A terror-related charge could also be added later if the evidence supports it.
