KORN & Adidas Reportedly Plotting Two More Collaborations This Year

All day I dream about… shoes? Shirts?

Korn Adidas

Korn and Adidas rolled out their long-time-coming Life Is Peachy collaboration last fall, though if you blinked you probably missed it – the collection sold out damn near instantly and hasn't been available since. Though you might have a second chance this year thanks to a second collaboration.

According to Complex (who were right about the first collaboration), Korn and Adidas are plotting a second line of merch around the band's 1998 album Follow The Leader. All we know so far is that the supposed line of merch will feature modified versions of Adidas' Campus 2 and Supermodified sneakers alongside a green sequined tracksuit, socks, a hat, and a long sleeve T-shirt.

Better yet, Complex further reports that a third drop is also slated for this October around Korn's self-titled debut album from 1994. So stay tuned! This all puts Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis' 2021 comments to Kerrang! in a much more comedic light regarding Adidas turning them down all those years ago.

"Get this shit," said Davis at the time. "Their reply was, 'adidas is a sports company. We do sports, not music.' I would look out into the crowd and see all these kids wearing adidas shit at our shows, but they couldn't do anything for us. Then you've got Kanye West and all these other people with their own [custom] shoes [in the years since]. What the flying fuck?!"

"We switched to Puma because they told us they'd put us in a commercial and give us a little money to wear their shit. We were just like, 'Fuck yeah! That's more than adidas ever did for us!' It wasn't a sell-out thing. It was about respect."

Speaking of Korn and their self-titled 1994 debut album, the band will hit the road to celebrate its anniversary this September with Gojira and Spiritbox. Get your tickets here.
