I guess Marilyn Manson's career in the music business isn't doing as hot as he'd like. Perhaps it's enough to have to spread out into other ventures, like…um, modeling? When I think fashion, Marilyn Manson isn't exactly the first name that comes to mind, although the man does have style.
I guess his style caught the eye of Saint Laurent, because he is now one of their spokespeople.
The above ad has appeared in fashion magazines, and according to Huffington Post fits the new style initiative of Saint Laurent which is going for "dark, edgy and slightly reminiscent of the '90s."
If that last sentence made you puke a little in your mouth, you are not alone. Previously, Beck has also appeared in the ads. No word on if any other rock luminaries will be showcased.
