1) Dream Theater's Mike Mangini

2) Behemoth on the Metal Alliance Tour
Did I mention that I love to shoot out of the photo pit? With Behemoth's massive stage presence and the red and white lights convening over Nergal – it makes this a perfect shot.
3) Cannibal Corpse's George CorpseGrinder Fisher at Mayhem Fest
Trying to catch a headbanding picture is not that easy, especially when you have one of the fastest headbangers in the world in the front of you.
4) Judas Priest's Rob Halford
Rob Halford with his horns up and the Judas Priest logo in the background make for the perfect picture.
5) Within Temptation's Sharon del Adel
Within Temptation was one of those shows were I didn't expect too much and ended up one of the best shoots of the year for me, especially because of the great lighting that night and the gorgeous lead singer, Sharon del Adel. That guarantees great pictures.
6) King Diamond
King Diamond smiling to the camera in a totally sold out show in NYC. It doesn't get any better.
7) Amon Amarth
All of Amon Amarth in action and the lights cross… probably my favorite picture of this year.
8) Pentagram

9) Slayer
Another year, another Slayer show and another great picture! They never disappoint.
10) Slipknot
This was my first time seeing Slipknot and they blew me away. They had fire and a lot of great lights. I selected this picture specifically for the fire in the back, the crowd in the front and Corey in action.
11) Dark-Tranquility
Mikael from Dark Tranquillity standing on the stage with the DT in the back early this year, I can't wait to shoot them again next month.
12) Gojira's Mario Duplantier
I can see Gojira every day and not get tired. The band show up with so much energy on the stage every time. This picture is proof of that. Here's Mario Duplantier destroying his drums on the last US tour with Mastodon.
