If you saw Tool at the Accor Arena in Paris on June 5, you might've wondered what that ball of light was doing behind the drum kit. I have some insane news for you – that was actually Danny Carey!
Hyperbole aside, Carey debuted a brand new suit designed by FX artist Jacob Roanhaus and it's pretty cool looking. The suit appears to also pay homage to artist Alex Grey, who's responsible for a good chunk of Tool's visual art over the years. No word on if the suit gave Carey extra incredible drumming abilities above his usual superhuman-ness.
