Slash was in New York City this past week as the Guns N Roses tour rolled through town. Rather just hang out in his hotel the whole time, one of rock's biggest guitar gods decided to pay it forward.
Slash decided to surprise the cast of Broadway's School of Rock for an impromptu jam during their rehersals. The gang jammed on GNR classics "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "Paradise City." Here's some video courtesy of Rolling Stone:
Slash told Rolling Stone that "It was really cool to meet such an enthusiastic and talented bunch of young rock ‘n’ rollers, they were great kids as well as great players.”
Damn it, Slash, can you get any more awesome?
