FOO FIGHTERS Tease Playing Nirvana Song Before Rick-Rolling The Crowd; Pay Tribute To PRODIGY's Keith Flint

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl continues being  the coolest motherfucker in music. The band performed at Reading Festival in England this weekend and Dave made sure to pay tribute to late Prodigy frontman Keith Flint. Grohl dedicated the band's performance of "Run" to Flint. He must've heard the band is working on new music.

Before the performance, he said “I wanna sing this one for Keith from The Prodigy!” In the middle of the song's bridge, Grohl added “Let me tell you something — I remember playing here with The Prodigy in 2009. That was the craziest shit I’ve ever seen! I want to see some Prodigy shit!” He closes the song with, “That’s for you, Keith!”

Here's some video of that:

The band weren't done having fun just yet. Grohl then went on to tease a Nirvana song, causing the crowd to absolutely lose their shit… before bringing out Rick Astley to help the band perform “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

Oh, Dave.

Perhaps even cooler, the night prior during the band's performance at Leeds, Grohl brought out his daughter, Violet Grohl to sing "My Hero." The adorable footage leads off with Dave introducing his daughter by saying “I’ll tell you what it’s like to be on tour with your daughter,” he says. “You stay up all night long watching horror movies and ordering room service. And then I get up, and I gotta make sure that she’s in the lobby on time…I gotta make sure that she gets breakfast…and then she comes out and gets to sing to 60,000 people — THAT’S what it’s like being Violet Grohl tonight.”

Violet certainly holds her own here:
