Wolfgang Van Halen recently rolled out his new band Mammoth WVH, and it's really good! Though of course with Eddie Van Halen having passed and Wolfgang having his own project, fans seems to expect some Van Halen covers. Which Wolfgang has made abundantly clear he's not going to do.
In an interaction on Facebook, Wolfgang responds to a fan asking him to "honor [his dad]" by responding that he honors him "by existing and doing what I do every day. I'm not fuckin' playing 'Panama' for you guys." Which makes sense, considering Wolfgang is his own artist, and not Van Halen. It also seems like a dick move to tell someone how to honor their dead father on social media.
