Underground A/V Roundup – TRAP THEM, THE FIRE THE FLOOD, AVATAR, BLUES, THE FAMINE, EXTERMINANCE, CIANIDE, IF LOOKS COULD KILL, CRYPTICUS

> TRAP THEM had the mixing of their upcoming album, “Seance Prime” finished on Sunday by Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studios. The band are also working on an EP. The full-length album is expected to be released in fall through Deathwish Inc. Until then, you can hear some songs at their MySpace page.

> THE FIRE THE FLOOD have posted their album, “Truth Seekers” online in its entirety at this location. The album is due out August 7th through No Sleep Records.

> Swedish melodic death metal band AVATAR has set October 24th as the release date for their album, “Schlacht”. Until then, you can hear some songs from the band at their MySpace page.

> Tuscon, Arizona metal/hardcore band BLUES have posted online a new song at their MySpace page. Unfortunately they did not list which song was new…

> Death/grind band THE FAMINE (ex-EMBODIMENT) have booked studio time to record their debut album in November/December with producer Andreas Magnusson (THE AGONY SCENE, THE BLACK DAHLIA). The album is expected to be released in early 2008 via Solid State. Until that time, you can hear some songs at their MySpace page.

> Cumberland, Maryland death/grind band EXTERMINANCE will have their newest release, “Vomiting The Trinity”, released sometime in October through Open Grave Records. The release was scheduled for July 17th, but due to Open Grave Records changing distributors, the album will only be available through the Open Grave Website, Relapse Records, Century Media, and a few other indie label distribution websites. Until that time, you can hear some songs on the Exterminance MySpace page.

> CIANIDE will have their 1997 album, “Death, Doom and Destruction” re-released through Razorback Records. The re-released will include liner notes, photos, a re-mastering, as well as tracks from the CIANIDE “The Truth” 7″ EP. You can hear some songs from the band at their MySpace page.

> Tennessee metal/hardcore band IF LOOKS COULD KILL have official signed a deal with Harlot Records. The band will have their EP, “Relax Baby, It’s Just Rock N Roll” released later in the year through the label. Until that time, you can hear some songs from the band at their MySpace page.

> CRYPTICUS will release their newest album, “They Called Me Mad” in early 2008 through Razorback Records.
