UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS' Online Store Closes After Friend Steals Thousands Of Dollars

Ouch… it's only temporary, though.

Ouch... it's only temporary, though.

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, arguably one of the best damn bands out there right now, isn't doing so hot. The band trusted a "friend" to run its online merchandise store via the band's website, and said friend has made off with a ton of the band's merchandise and money.

The band states that it'll be starting the merchandise store over, and that they've taken the matter into the legal realm. I guess the one benefit the band has in this case is that they know exactly who stole all their stuff, so that's a start.

"MERCH STORE: A lot of you have been asking what is going on with our merch store. In short; the friend who we trusted to run the band website has disappeared with thousands of dollars worth of our stock and band merch profits. This is now a legal matter so no further comment will be made.

"In the meantime, please bear with us while we start over again. A new site will be up and running in the coming weeks."

We wish Uncle Acid all the best. Usually, it's bands getting robbed on the road, but this seems to be theft on a much larger scale.
