As you may or may not know, depending on if you are at all into skate and/or hip hop culture, hardcore thrasher Trash Talk are affiliated with Odd Future, a west coast hip-hop group. The band signed to the Odd Future label a few months ago, making way for one of the best press releases I've ever read. Every once in a while the band will perform with other members of Odd Future, for something they refer to as "Trash Wang."
The band were playing their show closer, "Radicals" and multi-platinum mainstream overrated hip hop star, Lil Wayne came out to join them, you can see Wayne and Trash Talk frontman Lee Spielman in the photo attached to this post. And, of course there is video:

I guess it's good for Odd Future and Trash Talk to get in the headlines with somebody as notable as Lil' Wayne, but this doesn't do much for me, after the initial "oh, cool." Odd Future are clearly the hot thing on the street right now, something Wayne was a few years ago, so in a sense they are both helping each others' image out, with OFWGKTA getting some pub and Lil' Wayne keeping his "underground" cred.
I'm more excited about this new Trash Talk song that was released. Check it out.
