Still not cheap.

Tool has had a really interesting week on the Internet. It all started when the band announced they'd begin selling their personal allotment of Fear Inoculum vinyl box sets on tour, which were signed and going for a whopping $810 each. Then the band announced a new EP called Opiate2 featuring a new version of the classic track "Opiate" alongside a new music video. This of course had nothing to do with the vinyl sets, but still – new Tool is always very welcome. Now we're back to the vinyl thing.

According to one Redditor, the Fear Inoculum vinyl box has been knocked down to $750 from its previous $810. For comparison, some of the box sets have been surfacing on eBay for around $2,000 a piece. If you're not too keen on paying either of those prices, Tool is still planning on releasing Fear Inoculum on vinyl through the usual retailers sometime this April. No word on how much those will cost.
