The California wildfires have affected notable members of the rock community and hundreds of thousands of Californians. While Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst's home was destroyed, thankfully, Adam Jones' home survived the fires.
Jones posted to Instagram yesterday noting his home was okay:
“#KTLA Helicopter footage of Malibu as of this morning* Korin & I were overjoyed to see that our home & property had indeed been saved ?? My neighbors said the fires ran behind from the highway to the ocean during Friday night &
FD Ground & Air kicked total ass •Thank you?????? •
Many homes on the opposite side of the highway are damaged or gone ?
We are truly TRULY lucky”
There are many people far less fortunate than these rock stars that also lost their entire lives. Our thoughts are with everybody dealing with this in California right now. Those looking to help, and with the ability to do so can donate to the local firefighters with the info below, or donate to the Southern California Wildfire Relief Fund.
A friend of Metal Injection, Dan Rozenblum, a booking agent for many notable acts in the metal and hard rock scene also sadly lost the home he, his wife and nine-year-old daughter live in. If you are able to donate, a GoFundMe has been launched to help them as well.
