The last we heard from Puscifer was in 2013 with the EP Donkey Punch The Night and the last full length we got was Conditions of My Parole in 2011. Now it looks like we'll be getting another full length, according to the Blabbermouth rumor mill, which has a pretty solid track record of being right about things.
Work may finally be progressing a little more consistently on the new TOOL album, but meanwhile singer Maynard James Keenan has apparently found the time to complete a new disc from his music-and-cabaret act Puscifer. According to The Pulse Of Radio, Keenan told Punchdrink.com that a new Puscifer set is nearing completion for a tentative fall release, although he did not elaborate with any further details.
Maybe that's the whole grand master plan here? Keenan works on a new Puscifer record, finishes it up and then goes to finish up the Tool record to be out in 2016? That's 100-percent conjecture on my end, but I feel like the logic is sound enough to be viable.
Sorry we got your hopes up yesterday about a new Tool record.
