Thy Art Is Murder hasn't had a great time in North America, it seems. First frontman CJ McMahon gets his stage clothes stolen right after a show, and now as the band is traveling, their guitars have been damaged in transit.
According to Thy Art Is Murder's Twitter, the guitars were packed in fitted cases, and were taken out and damaged by TSA agents. TSA did respond on Twitter asking the band to put in a claim regarding the damage, though there's really no undoing dents like those. Unfortunately shit like this happens all the time because traveling in the United States is perpetually a nightmare for everyone.
Hey @TSA it was awfully nice of you to royally fuck up close to ten grand worth of guitars, you even dated a nice note for us ?? pic.twitter.com/MRPb2IGW2p

These guitars were carefully packed into a foam fitted flight case but your staff saw fit to remove them and then damage them. Why?
