Sybreed broke up in 2013, and while its members have been involved in other projects together over the years, they haven't formed any new bands exclusively with ex-Sybreed members. Except now vocalist Benjamin Nominet, guitarist Thomas "Drop" Betrisey, and bassist Ales Campanelli have all formed a new project that Nominet makes very clear is not a Sybreed reunion.

The project, which is currently unnamed, is expected to release gloomy new music in a few months.

"This is NOT a Sybreed reunion. Nor is it related to our respective recent works," said Nominet. "It's a new project for which I asked my old buddies Drop and Ales to help with, because they are the two best musicians I know and I couldn't see myself working with anyone else.

"The current plan is to release a first song during Spring 2021 and then more at regular intervals. Further information, such, as the name of the project, will be revealed as things progress so stay tuned! Ps: expect gloomy music"
