Trash Talk apparently have gained drummer Thomas Pridgen (ex-Mars Volta), though the circumstances seem a little strange give their old drummer hasn't really quit.
So according to LambGoat, who are credited at the bottom of this article for the original news break, have quoted Pridgen as saying:
On a good note I [am] currently working with Trash Talk, so get ready to see me playing aggressive music!
Which is both amazing and scary at the same time. Amazing because he's such a good drummer that it's kind of ridiculous, but scary in that way where you just have to wonder to what level of absolutel, pure insanity the dude's going to take it to. Just listen to the introductory drum fills of The Mars Volta's "Wax Simulacra." That song isn't even fast! Or shreddy! Or pissed! It's just a Volta jam… and now Pridgen's gonna destroy the universe. On that note, I said it was weird about him being in the band because old drummer Sam Bosson hasn't quit or anything. So yeah, that's weird. The real test here is to see how long Pridgen will stay in the band, given his need to jump from band to band.
