We were stunned with the news of Keith Flint's passing on March 4th. The Prodigy frontman was found in his Sussex apartment in England after taking his own life. He was only 49 years old.
The account for The Prodigy has been understandably dormant since those events, but they posted a new message yesterday encouraging fans to not "suffer in silence." Here is their full message:
“It has been a tough time for everyone over the last few weeks since Keef’s passing,” they write on Instagram. “If you are struggling with depression, addiction or the impact of suicide, please do not suffer in silence. The Prodigy fully support the campaign to improve mental health for all and give it the respect it deserves. On March 29th, family and friends gathered to pay tribute to Flint during his funeral. It looks like Keith really went out in style, with his his coffin transported in a horse-drawn carriage, which features a flower arrangement in the shape of the Prodigy ant logo. The word "Keef" was spelled out in orange flowers on the roof. Fans ended up
in memory of "Keef."
