Things didn't look good for The Haunted last year. After frontman Peter Dolvig left the band and burned that bridge, two other members, guitarist Anders Bjoler and drummer Per Möller Jensen also quit the band, resulting in me declaring that the band was dunzo. But, that's not the case at all. The Haunted have been resurrected!
Today, the band made the official announcement that vocalist Marco Aro, the guy who replaced Peter Dolvig the first time he quit, will be rejoining the band, as will founding drummer Adrian Erlandsson and the addition of Ola Englund on guitars. A new video from the band explains how the reunions took place:

We're all VERY excited about having THE HAUNTED back in working shape again and we can't wait to get back out on the road to play for our very patient and faithful fans again. A new album is also already in the works and if you are familiar with the individual band members of this new line-up, you can be assured that the new material will grab you by the throat from the get-go!
Founding member Jensen Bjoler stated that not only is there touring in the works but a new album as well:

What do you think? Are you looking forward to hearing new material? Personally, I was always more a fan of the Dolvig-era Haunted stuff (especially the first album) than the Aro material, but I'll definitely check this out when it's released.
