On April 18, 2018, The Ghost Inside held their first band practice since their horrific 2015 bus crash. The band has been consistently been trying to come back ever since, but constant health-related issues related to the crash have kept them from doing so. One of the most heartbreaking setbacks was the band wanting to play Warped Tour 2017 or 2018's final Warped Tour (as a tour), but unfortunately weren't well enough to do so either time. Despite all this, The Ghost Inside has vowed to carry on.
Now in a very cryptic Twitter response to a fan, it looks like The Ghost Inside is making good on that vow and working on new material. Or at least vocalist Jonathan Vigil, drummer Andrew Tkaczyk, and bassist Jim Riley are, if we're going precisly by who's visible in the photo below. This would be The Ghost Inside's first new music since their 2014 record Dear Youth, and a testament to their will power as a band to carry on in the face of adversity.
Here's hoping we get to hear this sooner rather than later.
