The Armed released their newest album Ultrapop in April 2021 and began working on its follow-up in November. Now the band has taken to Twitter to begin teasing something called Ultrajazz, which might be a new album? The ending title card has the same typography as Ultrapop. All we know for sure is that whatever Ultrajazz is, it has some very high-pitched saxophone shred. But given the mystery surrounding The Armed, maybe we don't know that. Who knows!
The new The Armed material has been at least in part produced by producer (and rumored The Armed mastermind) Kurt Ballou at his GodCity Studio.
