Sumac, the band consisting of drummer Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists), bassist Brian Cook (Russian Circles, Botch, ex-These Arms Are Snakes) and guitarist and vocalist Aaron Turner (Old Man Gloom, ex-Isis), is back in the studio. The new record will be Sumac's first non-collaborative album since May You Be Held in 2020, as the band more recently released their third collaboration with Keiji Haino dubbed Into This Juvenile Apocalypse Our Golden Blood to Pour Let Us Never in 2022.

And if you're unfamiliar with Sumac, go check 'em out. I personally recommend their 2016 record What One Becomes – the massive track "Blackout" on that album is incredible.
