STEVEN ADLER's Wish Granted – GUNS N ROSES Invite Him On Stage In Cincinnati

This had to mean a lot for Adler.

This had to mean a lot for Adler.

Since the rumors of Guns N Roses "getting back together" surfaced, it was initially reported that former drummer Steven Adler, who famously drummed on their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, was not invited. Then, rumors surfaced that Adler would be brought up on stage as a special guest – well that's exactly what happened last night.

Guns N Roses played Cincinnati's Brown Stadium last night and invited Adler up to play with the band for the first time since 1990. Adler was initially kicked out of the band for rampant drug use – so can you imagine how much more drugs he must've been doing than everybody else? Anyway, after performing "Out Ta Get Me," Axl Rose said "Guess we should do another," and the band broke into "My Michelle." Here's some video:

According to a report from LA Weekly, Adler recently had back surgery and was "not ready to tour with GN'R, not yet, and maybe not ever."

We'll keep you posted if Adler pops up at any more shows.
