Cough, who shares a bassist with Windhand if you're curious, is finally in the studio after dropping the monstrously fuzzy Ritual Abuse in 2010. The band has made multiple brief announcements on its Facebook in the past few weeks and has finally announced that it has entered the studio earlier this week.
The band has also alluded to big things happening with this new album, so we'll see where this road leads! In the meantime, familiarize yourself with the band's 2010 LP in the event you haven't done so thoroughly just yet. It's oppressively heavy and generally disgusting, but I guarantee you'll throw money at it in some capacity.
Dammit. I thought listening to that record would distract me from wanting a new record, but it didn't.
