On Record Store Day, U2 released Songs of Innocence on vinyl. Just in case you didn't get it digitally, which you did because it was made available for free to anyone with a pulse and the will to subject themselves to new U2. So some people went out and tried to grab a copy of the record on wax and when they got home or just read the center of the record, they realized they were not in possession of a U2 vinyl at all.
They got Tool's Opiate, according to Death and Taxes.
I guess that's what you get for buying a U2 vinyl? Seriously though, I hope the record label does right by people who bought these vinyl and rectify the issue. That or give them the proper casings for the Tool vinyl in exchange, considering some fans maybe now be convert Tool fanatics.
