Skeletonwitch is not only getting better and better as time goes on, but the group is gaining pretty serious popularity. So twelve years deep and five records into its life, Skeletonwitch is reaching back into the void in order to pull out a sixth piece of frozen gore for y'all to feast on this year. According to guitarist Scott Hedrick:
“After we return from melting faces in Europe, our entire focus will be on writing a new album. We have a mountain of riffs and ideas that will be carved into epic tunes. Excited to get started!”
That tour ends in mid-May, though I'd imagine the group will be writing a little on tour before coming back and crushing it. Considering that time line I'm not so sure we'll see the new stuff this year, but who knows! Turnaround time can be quick if you've got the material down to a science or you're just brimming with ideas when you get off the bus for the last time.
