Holy Blast Beat! Our buds over at Sick Drummer Magazine have pulled out all the stops for one of the coolest events I've ever seen. The event is called Sick Drummer Camp and includes a 5 day work shop drum camp with an all star cast including George Kollias, Derek Roddy, Sean Reinert, Danny Walker and Navene Koperweis!
The event will be held in Northern California on a 5 acre private retreat which offers various performance spaces, lounge areas, hot tubs, BBQ, wine tasting, in-ground pool, go karts, billiards, hiking trails and within walking distance to stores, restaurants, casinos and more. This basically sounds like the world's coolest summer learning camp mixed with ultimate hang time. The event will also be filmed for DVD and includes a private performance by Cynic or Animals As Leaders. Woah!
