When he's not single-handedly writing one of the best damn albums of 2014, Scar Symmetry guitarist Per Nilsson has been working on his solo project Shapeshifter! Nilsson announced the project over the holiday break via Facebook page creation and… well that's pretty much all we know at this time.
It's worth noting Nilsson literally did write all the music on Scar Symmetry's latest record The Singularity, Phase One: Neohumanity, which was very well received. Nilsson is also involved in writing killer licks for progressive rock band Kaipa and has been since 2006, because progressive metal just wasn't enough! Obviously the man has enough talent to go around, so here's hoping his solo project is just as great.
