A GoFundMe has been launched.

A GoFundMe has been launched.

Bassist Mark Adams, who played with Saint Vitus from 1981 to 1996, in 2003, and then from 2008 to 2016, has sadly been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

A GoFundMe has since been launched by the band themselves to help Adams raise $25,000 for medical bills.

"Mark Adams of Saint Vitus has Parkinson’s Disease. He is not able to afford proper heath care and is in need of assistance. For all those that have wondered what was going on in his absence this is the reason. He is the co founder of Saint Vitus and well loved. All funds will be directed to Mark Adams’ medical needs and ability to live. We are reaching out to fans, friends and, in other words, The Saint Vitus Family for help. Thank you!

-Saint Vitus"

Down and ex-Crowbar bassist Pat Bruders has been filling in for Adams since 2016. We wish Adams all the best in his coming medical procedures.
