LINKIN PARK Is Reportedly Entertaining Reunion Offers For 2025

With some of their classic lineup, allegedly.

Seems like there may have been a nugget of truth to Orgy frontman Jay Gordon's recent comments that Linkin Park would be reuniting with a currently-unknown female vocalist.

For those unaware, Gordon may have spilled the beans in an interview with Wired In The Empire. In the interview, Gordon said: "Very, very cool guys and obviously a great band. They've been around a long time and they're still going for it. It's going to be tough without Chester [Bennington], but we'll see. I hear they got a girl singer now. That's what I heard.”

Gordon then walked back his comment, saying: "Don't quote me on that. I'm not sure who the singer is going to be, but I heard it was gonna be female. They might just try to move on like that. That ought to be interesting."

Now Billboard is reporting that Linkin Park is allegedly entertaining reunion offers for 2025 with a female singer. "Booking agency WME is taking offers for a potential Linkin Park tour along with headlining festival dates featuring Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Dave Farrell, the sources say," reads a portion of Billboard's report.

"The band has not indicated who will sing on behalf of [late Linkin Park vocalist Chester] Bennington, who was often praised as one of the most gifted and durable vocalists of the 2000s with a dynamic range tailor-made for the group’s genre-bending style."

They added: "One source tells Billboard the band is hoping to find a female vocalist to front the reunited band, matching rumors that have been making the rounds in recent weeks."

The other interesting aspect of that report is that it doesn't mention turntablist Joe Hahn and drummer Rob Bourdon, both of whom were with Linkin Park in their pre-Bennington days when they went by the name Xero. But again – this is all a big rumor right now, so who knows if Linkin Park will ultimately come back and who will be part of their lineup if they do.
