Axl Rose just can't stay out of the headlines. While all the rumors this week were about his potential new gig as fill-in vocalist for AC/DC after being spotted leaving the same rehearsal space, people seem to forget there is still his main focus… the re-launch of Guns N Roses.
Today, there are some new GNR rumors.
First off, word on the street is the band is going to play a surprise gig tomorrow night, April 1st, at the Whiskey A Go Go. The date was originally set aside for founding drummer Steven Adler's band, but was cancelled with the reason at the time being a "very big announcement," that never really came. Hopefully, if the rumors are true, Adler can hop up on stage for a few songs with the "reunited" lineup.
Secondly, even though US cities have been revealed for the band's summer tour, The Cult frontman Billy Duffy told Vanyaland that his band is opening for GNR, but not in the US:
"I believe we will be playing with them at a couple of shows that are not in the United States. I think I can say that, I believe," Duffy said. "I just found out."
