It's been a while since we've heard from Amon Amarth. Other than playing some European festivals over the summer things have been quiet for the Swedish melodeath masters. If their most recent Facebook post is any indication, they clearly have been keeping busy.
The band re-posted a meme'd image a fan submitted to their page, following the "Brace Yourself, ____ is Coming" tradition, taken from Game Of Thrones, a show that I feel all Amon Amarth fans can agree on.
Based on people I've spoken to who are close to the band, I do know the band is working on new material and is planning on hitting the States hard next year, most likely during the Summer festival season.
2013 will be an exciting time to be an Amon Amarth fan. For now, enjoy their full performance from this year's Wacken:
