The Alternative Press Music Awards will be held at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, OH on July 18 this year and will feature performances from bands like A Day To Remember and Beartooth (among others). This year's edition will also have Babymetal performing with Judas Priest's Rob Halford, because sometimes dreams do come true for metal fans who just want to perform with their idols.
No word on if the performance will be of Babymetal or Judas Priest material, though either would be pretty cool. Halford previously posed with the band for a photo at Rock on the Range, and has generally been welcoming towards the more pop-oriented trends in metal, even saying that he'd love to collaborate with Lady Gaga on a track: "I've been a huge fan of Gaga since she first burst on the scene. I just love everything that lady represents."
This will certainly be an interesting clip.
