German authorities have dropped their investigation into Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann.

According to Deutsche Welle, prosecutors stated their initial investigation into Lindemann did not provide any evidence of the claims against him. Prosecutors further state that no alleged victims who made claims against Lindemann came forward to provide any testimony to substantiate their allegations.

"The rapid termination of investigative proceedings by the Berlin state prosecutor's office shows that there is insufficient evidence that our client allegedly committed sexual offenses," said Lindemann's legal representatives on Tuesday, August 29.

Prosecutors have also dropped investigations into Alena Makeeva, a former member of the Rammstein team who was allegedly inviting girls to the afterparties in question.

Allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced against Lindemann in May after a show in Lithuania. Rammstein denied the claims, though Lindemann's publisher ultimately dropped him and Universal Music suspended promoting Rammstein's music as Berlin's prosecutor launched an investigation into Lindemann "on allegations relating to sexual offences and the distribution of narcotics."

Lindemann's lawyers made it known that they would be pursuing legal action against his accusers back in June. No word on if either Lindemann's publisher or Universal Music will pick up where they left off with the aforementioned parties.
