UPDATE: Rammstein has since released a statement saying Lindemann does not have coronavirus.

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is currently in the intensive care unit of a Berlin hospital according to a new reporting from German newspaper Bild.

Rammstein performed last weekend, on March 15th, in Moscow, after the outbreak had begun worldwide. When Lindemann returned home to Germany, he was hospitalized with an extremely high fever. He eventually tested positive for coronavirus. He is currently in the ICU under quarantine.

While Lindemann was in critical condition, thankfully he is feeling better and according to the report, his life is not in danger currently.

We are now past 550,000 cases worldwide of the virus, with over 25,000 deaths. Germany has the fifth largest amount of confirmed cases worldwide, at 34,000. However, according to the Washington Post, Germany has only 0.4% death rate, much lower than other national averages.

Stay safe out there and wash your hands.
