Quick Bits: Slipknot recording at the end of the year, Killswitch Engage, Eighteen Visions, Suicide Silence, Immortal Reunion Video online

> STONE SOUR/SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor was interviewed by 89.5 FM WSOU Seton Hall's Pirate Radio last Friday (April 6) before STONE SOUR's show in New York. A lucky contest winner was also on hand to ask some questions. During the interview, Taylor apparently stated that SLIPKNOT will release at least one more album and that they should begin recording before the end of the year. > KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has been confirmed for the entire run of this year's Warped Tour. Roadrunner Records has made the track "This is Absolution" of the band's latest release As Daylight Dies available at this location.

> According to Lambgoat, Orange County, California rock (one-time metal) band EIGHTEEN VISIONS has called it quits.

> Riverside, CA-based quintet SUICIDE SILENCE has just wrapped up the recording process for their debut album, which is set for a summer release via Century Media Records. The new effort was recorded with acclaimed producer John Travis (STATIC-X), and is currently being mixed by Tue Madsen (HIMSA, THE HAUNTED) at his studio in Denmark.

> Reunited Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL made their return to the live stage on Friday, April 6 as the headliners of this year's Inferno Festival, which took place April 5-7 at the Rockefeller Music Hall and John Dee in Oslo, Norway.
