Queens Of The Stone Age's first new album in six years did pretty well! Queens Of The Stone Age released In Times New Roman last Friday, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album moved a total of 40,000 album equivalent units, 36,000 of which were actual album sales. For reference, Queens Of The Stone Age's 2017 album Villains moved 73,000 album equivalent units upon its release.
In Times New Roman stacks up pretty well against other major rock releases this year, with Sleep Token moving 16,000 album equivalent units for Take Me Back To Eden and Avenged Sevenfold moving 36,000 album equivalent units with Life Is But A Dream.
