Reddit user fan u/MariaKalash snagged themselves a job thanks in part to a Tool t-shirt. The Redditor took to the Tool subreddit last week to let everyone know they just got out of a pretty interesting job interview. "I just got out of job interview," they said. "I'm wearing a Tool tshirt [today]. After an hour of talking, the recruiter said 'I just have one last question, what is favourite Tool song? Because I'm a huge fan myself!' I really want this new job now!"

Their response was "7empest" off the 2019 Tool record Fear Inoculum, which they said has been their favorite ever since seeing the band live last month. "And I'm a programmer, I can wear band tshirt to work," they noted. u/MariaKalash has now returned to the forum to let everyone know the good news that they got the job, which of course is the news I'm sure everyone wanted to hear. Congrats to u/MariaKalash on the new job!

Tool recently announced a $65, 3xLP version of Fear Inoculum with new artwork from guitarist Adam Jones housed in a triple gatefold jacket with an exclusive poster, available here for pre-order. The vinyl is out on August 5. As for the future of Tool, drummer Danny Carey said in a recent interview that the band has some leftover ideas from the Fear Incoulum sessions that they're going to start working on. Carey also mentioned that the band is working on a live DVD comprised of shows mostly from Tool's Lateralus shows in 2002, and calls the release "a good mind blower for all the hardcore fans."
