PALLBEARER Is In The Studio

Time to get heavy. Like a humid summer day in Arkansas.

Pallbearer2020

Little Rock, Arkansas doom metal dealers (and New York Times darlingsPallbearer are back in the studio hard at work on their fifth studio album, and needless to say: we’re stoked. The band shared a recent update to social media featuring a photo of drummer Mark Liarly:

“After seemingly endless obstacles, we are equally thrilled and relieved to announce that tracking has begun for our next record at @fellowshiphallsound”

Pallbearer is celebrating the 10th anniversary of their Sorrow & Extinction record this year, beginning with a European tour.

"We'll be celebrating a decade of S&E over the course of 2022… It's a momentous occasion for us to have this album turn ten, thank you to everyone who's been with us from then to now,” the band said in a statement.

Tour dates for this summer can be found below. The band is playing a ton of festivals in August, as well as a few select club dates along the way. As for a timetable on the new album, we know that Pallbearer aren’t really known for their brevity, which might just be the understatement of the year. All of which is totally cool with us. Still, a release date is really anyone’s guess. But regardless of how long the wait is, it will without question be worth the wait.
