It'll have been ten years since his Praises To The War Machine in 2018, and Nevermore frontman Warrel Dane is geared up to do yet another solo album. Dane is going to hit the studio this fall with renowned producer Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Halford) to create Shadow Work, which is due out within the first half of 2018.
The press release for the album states the album will "offer darker, heavier, more complex songs, occasionally flirting with extreme metal by incorporating such elements as blast beats and combining this with Warrel Dane’s unique, dramatic trademark vocals." So not quite the rock-ish sound you're expecting if you've heard or enjoyed on Praises To The War Machine.
Dane's band will consist of his current live band, them being Addicted To Pain's guitarists Johnny Moraes and Thiago Oliveira, and bassist Fabio Carito, alongside Hevilan drummer Marcus Dotta.
