Soulfly recently welcomed guitarist Mike DeLeon from Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals, saying in an Instagram post "Welcome Mike DeLeon, to the Soulfly Tribe!" We all assumed that meant Soulfly had officially found a replacement for guitarist Marc Rizzo, but it turns out that is not the case.
Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera clarified in a new video that DeLeon is only one of many guitarists to join Soulfly for their live efforts, and that DeLeon is not a permanent member. "Mike is going to join the tour for nine weeks, and we're going to keep introducing killer guitar players to the Soulfly tribe throughout the year," said Cavalera.
