Texas's Nyogthaeblisz is a nazi band masquerading as a black metal project. Oh, you may have heard them on the Nazi black metal comp Satanic Skinhead: Declaration of Anti-Semetic Terror with lyrics like “Noxious death-gases and enraptured hellfire / Viciously devastating the menial Israelite rats / Lion of Judah envenomed, withers and ceases to be.” Catchy and hateful.
The band made headlines in the Northeast when New Jersey venue Dingbatz came under fire for allowing the band to perform after telling the press that they would not allow such a thing, under the guise of "free speech" as opposed to not wanting to give refunds to people who go see a Nazi band. The band claim they are not Nazis, they're anti-Semetic. Based on that logic, I am not a pothead, I just smoke weed everyday.
Anyyyyyway, word got out that Nyogthaeblisz were a bunch of Nazis and wouldn't you know it, it became much harder for the band to get bookings. It's almost as if when you spew racist garbage, people don't want to deal with you.
So being the smart business men that the Nazis were, they changed their name to Hellvetron, which sounds like something a 13 year old who just picked up a Mayhem CD would come up with. It didn't take a private investigator to realize both bands are eerily similar.
MetalSucks points to their Metal Archives pages, which show easy similarities:
The band got one over on Final Score Bar & Grill outside of Philadelphia. After the band got kicked off the stage, mid-set, the venue owners did some research and noticed the similarities between the two bands. He then went to the press.
From that point, somebody noticed they had a gig coming up at Chicago’s Cobra Lounge. A fan brought up the issue to Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace, who lives in the area, signal boosted it and then when the venue got word of what was happening, they promptly cancelled the show.
Hey @CobraLounge would you please, please, please address this? https://t.co/15i4Xmkx1c

NBC Chicago reports the venue’s general manager, Louie Mendicino got a text from a friend and that's when he shut things down:
“Mendicino said he told the promoter for the show either Hellvetron had to come off the bill or the whole show needed to be canceled. The promoter wouldn’t remove the Texas black metal band and asked if Mendicino knew of any other venues that might take them, the venue manager said.”
The venue pulled the plug, and naturally started getting hate from Nazis:
“Tonight’s show has been canceled. We were recently made aware of some anti-Semitic rhetoric in regards to one of the bands on tonight’s bill and we cannot support even the slightest claim of racism or social divisiveness of any kind,” the venue said. “We pride ourselves on diversity and cultural development of unifying nature. We have already received threatening messages from Nazi supporting entities and we are fine with that. We apologize for inconveniencing any ticket holders but our stance is firm. All but the hateful are welcome in our house.”
In the comments of the post, when somebody noted that the venue would lose thousands of dollars, Mendicino noted "that money doesn’t mean anything to us if we’re gonna be tied to hate speech. There’s not enough money in the world for us to be tied to that kind of rhetoric."
And that's how a venue should deal with nazis.
