A memorial show has been set up for April 5 for the late David Gold. The Woods of Ypres frontman was killed back in December during a car accident. The show, which will double as a listening party for the upcoming release, Woods 5: Grey Skies and Electric Light, will be held at The Annex WreckRoom in Toronto, Ontario. Novembers Doom is set to headline the event, with memorial performances by Kittie, Panzerfaust, Eclipse Eternal, Empyrean Plague, Gypsy Chief Goliath, Hallows Die, and Pagan Ritual.
According to the memorial show's Facebook event page, David's final album, Woods 5, will be played, in its entirety, over a venue sound system. Admission to the event is based on donations, which will help fund David's final arrangements and will also support a music scholarship fund that has been set up in his name.
