Mastodon recently cancelled their tour with Dinosaur Jr. due to "a critical situation of a member of the Mastodon family." Mastodon did not further elaborate on the situation, but now both drummer Brann Dailor and guitarist Brent Hinds have taken to Instagram to comment on the situation.
Mastodon's longtime manager Nick John unfortunately has been stricken with pancreatic cancer and the band would appreciate it if you could send all your love and good vibes his way. We wish Nick John and Mastodon all the best at this time, and for Nick to get a good prognosis soon.
