Life Of Agony has been together from 1989 to 1999, 2002 to 2012, and then 2014 to present day. Drummer Sal Abruscato joined in 1992, quit in 1996, and then has been there for both the 2002 reunion and the 2014 reunion. Unfortunately, it seems like Abruscato has departed the group for the second time in his career. Abruscato posted the following on his personal Facebook page.
"Sometimes you just have to let go and say goodbye to old friends, the past and its ghosts. Move forward, grow up, grab that life preserver and jump off the ship. I have three beautiful daughters and a beautiful wife that love me and that’s what is important."
He doesn't explicitly say this is about Life Of Agony, but he does list himself as a former member of the band on his jobs and doesn't include them on his intro.
MetalSucks also points out that Abruscato appears to have re-activated A Pale Horse Named Death, and sort of confirms he left A Life Of Agony in a comment to a fan. A Pale Horse Named Death has been rehearsing lately and is planning a new album for 2018, its first new album in five years.
A Life Of Agony has not issued a full statement at this time, and this should be treated as a rumor until they do so.
