Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis is an avid gamer, and apparently one that also came this close to having a game of his own. In an interview with Kotaku, Davis revealed he'd designed a game called Pop Scars where famous pop and rock icons would be put into deathmatch fights. Davis said he had Fred Durst and Marilyn Manson signed on to the game among others, designer American McGee creating the whole thing, and comic book artist Marty Emond all ready to animate.
Unfortunately, the game fell through.
"I had all the biggest pop and rock stars at the time. that were down to do it. It was with one of the gaming companies [backing the whole thing] and they had to pull out because they had to pull entire teams for other games. It just didn’t happen, but I really liked it."
