Well-known donation platform Fandiem is running a campaign to support Headbang For Science, and the prize is a trip to Las Vegas to see Halestorm from the photo pit and hang out with Lzzy Hale and SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin.
Headbang For Science is an annual scholarship award for high school seniors, undergrads & grad students who are pursuing a career in healthcare and/or the physical sciences. It’s the first scholarship foundation to directly provide financial aid to metalheads, and was founded by SiriusXM curator/host and former pharmacy grad student Jose "Metal Ambassador" Mangin in 2021.
With the donation participants are entered to win:
- Two (2) VIP tickets to see Halestorm with I Prevail at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, August 17, 2024
- Round trip travel to Las Vegas, NV, and 2-night hotel stay for two (2)
- Hang with Siriusxm Metal Host Jose Mangin for the day with a pick-up/drop-off at the hotel in a VinDime limo and dinner and drinks before the show
- Two (2) Guest/Artist passes to go backstage with Jose at the Halestorm show and meet Lzzy + take a photo
- Two (2) Photo Pit passes to take photos from the pit for the first few songs
- Kramer Lzzy Hale Signature Guitar signed by Halestorm
There are a couple of bonuses as well. Those who donate $100 will receive a custom Halestorm poster, and if the donation is $150 then the poster will be signed by the band (available to the first 100 donors).
