Johnny Depp is no stranger to the rock world, being part owner at one point of LA Sunset Strip club, The Viper Room and even jamming with Alice Cooper recently. Now, he's taking his love of music one step further by collaborating with long-time friend Marilyn Manson for a track on the shock rocker's new album, Born Villian. The two recorded a cover of the Carly Simon classic "You're So Vein." Manson tells MTV that Depp playing drums and guitar on the track, while Manson also contributed guitar parts and sang the vocals. There is also a video in the works, which Manson said "will probably be us looking at each other like a mirror." I personally think Depp is one cool motherfucker, and despite my feelings on the underwhelming lead single from Born Villian, I am very interested in hearing this track. I'll get my chance when the album comes out May 1st (April 30th in the UK).
